How to post a client Invoice
- Click on Daily Activities
2. Select Invoices
3. A new form will open
4. Select the date. There are two dates. Include transactions to date is the date upto which you want to include all the transactions of Time & Fees and Client Expenses and the multiple clients who have time & fees and client expenses posted to that date.
Invoice date is the date of the Invoice which should mostly be the date when the Invoices are created.
5. You can add one Invoice or you can also add multiple Invoices.
6. Select or enter client/matter.
7. Select a Invoice template.
8. Click on Time & Fees and select the transactions you want to include.
9. Confirm the total amount chargeable for Time and Fees and click on Save & Close
10. For Flat Fees, click on Flat fees and enter the description and the amount and click on Save & Close.
11. Enter the amount of discount if any.
12. Click on Client Expenses and select the transactions you want to include in this Invoice and click on Save & Close.
13. The total amount of GST and PST will automatically be calculated as per the total amount of the Invoice and taxable client expenses. Alternatively, you can also change these amounts.
14. You cannot change the total of the Invoice.
15. You can also do the Fee distribution based on the criteria of your firm
16. You can preview the prebill by clicking on the magnifying glass
17. You can also add multiple Invoices by clicking on the button as shown below
18. In case an Invoice needs to be removed, select that Invoice and click on remove Invoices
19. Click on Post & Close
